about

One point of contact, with a network behind it.

Behind Digital Strategies is one person: Arjen Brink. Not an agency with account managers and juniors, but an independent engineer who sets up the tracking, builds the pipelines and develops the applications himself. And who also advises on data, AI and digital organisation. So you always deal directly with the person doing the work.

Background

Before going independent I was director digital at VodafoneZiggo. Together with a management team I led a department of 120 people there, across development, content, design and data. That is the experience I now bring as a consultant or fractional CTO: I know how a digital organisation works from the inside, where it gets stuck and what it takes to get it moving again. And because I build myself, the advice stays concrete.

Independent, not alone

For work outside my field, or when a project simply needs more hands, I work with a steady network of specialists and partners I have done projects with before, across design, front-end and marketing. You still keep one point of contact, even when more people are working on the project.

What working together looks like

Sometimes I pick something up entirely on my own, sometimes I work alongside your team or another agency, often exactly where marketing and technology meet. One job is a well-defined task of a few days, the next is a project running for months. In both cases: done means it runs and has been tested.

Honest advice

I don't need to sell hours. If a simple solution does the job, or another party is a better fit for your question, that's what you'll hear. It keeps the advice useful and usually makes for a long relationship.
